Adeje Hotels – Las Dalias Review

This four-star hotel is in one of the best locations of all the Adeje hotels, being 500 metres from a fantastic beach and yet within walking distance of a great variety of shops and bars. You can choose half-board or stay on an all-inclusive basis at this hotel.

The hotel's 404 rooms are arranged over nine floors, are comfortable and well-equipped with air conditioning, a mini bar, safe, satellite TV and of course a phone – not that many people need one these days with the proliferation of mobiles. Rooms have twin beds, like so many of the Adeje hotels and for that matter hotels all over Europe these days, but you can ask for a double bed if you prefer one as they are available on request.

As for food, like many other Adeje hotels in its class, you will find a great variety of food that is prepared and served to a very high standard, and let's face it, any four star hotel that gets this wrong won't be in business for long as there is so much competition. Anyway, here you will find a buffet restaurant for the evenings, supplemented by a pool snack bar and also a poolside barbecue for the afternoons which is very popular.

There are two swimming pools here, but unlike so many of the other less reputable Adeje hotels, Las Dalias is surrounded by beautiful, tranquil gardens and enough terraces for you to be undisturbed while you read your holiday novel. There are children's pools too, by the way, so the tots can paddle around in safety. Talking of children, they will be impressed almost as much as their parents by the mini club and children's playground. Unusually, this hotel has a sand-floor sports arena where you can play volleyball, tennis or even football.

Here are some snippets from reviews by customers of this hotel:

“We had a great holiday the hotel staff were really friendly and attentive”
“the food was great (and I am a fussy eater)”
“we found it absolutely brilliant and would definitely recommend it to anyone”
“Offered a glass of Cava as we completed the booking registration forms which was a nice”
“The children's entertainment, kids club, food and location all very good.”
“Our two children 10 and 16 both met lots of friends and the children’s Maxi club kept our son well entertained”
“The food was varied and delicious, every evening there are three chefs cooking different meats and fish”

All in all, Las Dalias seems a good choice amongst hotels on offer, as most reviews are favourable.
